What Our Clients Say!

History

The Montoro Architectural Group is a full service architectural and design firm that specializes in commercial, retail, healthcare, office, educational, multi-family and residential design services. For more than 25 years the firm has provided design expertise to its clients.

Tice’s Corner in Woodcliff Lake, NJ was a turning point. The principal, John Montoro, began a residential division along with the growing commercial division. With experience we have built more than 100 shopping centers, and more than 500 homes and additions throughout New York and New Jersey. John has continued to diversify, designing many private and public schools as well as healthcare facilities and civic projects.

Methodology

From our inception we have focused on “hands on design” and maximizing the clients usable space, to maximize their or the projects ROI. This requires careful coordination of drawings in the design and construction document process, yielding a level of design service that is not usually found in the industry. John and the entire team enjoy long standing relationships with our clients. As a result our firm has built a foundation of satisfied and return clients!

Our Goal has been and always will be to create a dynamic design that can be built on time and within budget.

Mission Statement

For John Montoro, having an on-going variety of projects makes for a dynamic practice that is challenging, stimulating and extremely gratifying. His clients benefit through the crossover of design ideas and services stemming from his interaction on different project types. The Montoro Architectural Groups longevity is due to John’s client friendly approach to design.

Each client receives his full attention as he sketches during their meeting allowing the client to have input as the design is crafted. In two or three hours they will have sketches to show a contractor and explore pricing. This process is different and helps our clients get the results they want faster, as John takes the project through to construction making sure all goals are met.
